Cookie & Local Storage Policy
Last updated: 15 August 2026.
This policy explains how Bulldog Secure Store at www.bulldogsecure.store and Bulldog Spare Keys Store at keys.bulldogsecure.store use cookies, browser storage and similar technologies.
Our current approach
We do not currently use advertising cookies, behavioural advertising pixels or website analytics technologies for tracking visitors across the Bulldog stores.
We use browser storage and cookies where needed to provide store functions requested by visitors, maintain security and operate checkout and accounts.
Basket storage
Bulldog Secure Store uses first-party local browser storage named bulldog-secure-store:basket:v1 to remember products and options placed in your basket.
Order and registration form storage
The stores use session storage while you complete certain order and registration forms. Current storage names include bulldog-key-order-state-v1 and bulldog-registration-service-form.
This preserves form state during the browser session and helps prevent information being lost while you complete the requested transaction.
Customer account session
When a Secure Store customer signs in, the site uses a first-party secure session cookie so My Account and My Orders remain authenticated.
The account cookie uses HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax protections.
Cloudflare Turnstile
Cloudflare Turnstile is used on protected actions, including checkout, to help prevent abusive or automated traffic.
Stripe Checkout
Payment is completed on Stripe's secure hosted checkout. Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies on its own hosted payment service.
Product videos
Some product pages offer videos supplied by YouTube or Vimeo. The external player is not loaded merely because you visit the product page.
The video service is activated only when you choose Play video. YouTube content uses the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com embed domain.
Contact form
The Contact & Support form is supplied through our form service at spuk.fccg.uk.
It is loaded only after you choose Load contact form. When activated, the service may use a PHP session cookie and a short-lived functional cookie needed to operate the form.
Restricted administration
Restricted administrative areas may use secure authentication or session cookies to maintain authorised administrative access. These are used for security rather than advertising or visitor profiling.
Analytics and advertising
We do not currently deploy non-essential advertising or visitor analytics technologies on these Bulldog stores.
If this changes, we will review this policy and apply appropriate cookie choices before enabling technologies that require permission.
Managing browser storage
Your browser allows you to view and clear cookies, local storage and other website data. Clearing necessary store storage may empty your basket, sign you out or remove temporary form information.
